The purpose of FinNuclear Quality Forum is to contribute to securing and developing of the national nuclear competences through exchanging information and experiences among industry’s quality professionals.

FinNuclear Quality Forum’s theme this time is:
  • Quality management and safety culture practices and efforts in Finland and abroad
There will be presentations from power company’s perspective by Fortum, Fennovoima as well as from international perspective by quality management experts of Japan Nuclear Safety Institute (JANSI). All participants are expected to take part in the Q&A/roundtable discussions for an effective networking and information exchange.

Topics preliminarily include:
  • Fortum’s quality management organization and structure
  • JANSI in brief, activities to improve Japanese quality management practices
  • Good practices and findings from benchmarking studies
  • Development of safety culture at Fennovoima
  • Recent initiatives and developments in quality management and safety culture, Human Performance program at Fortum
  • Safety culture in a network of companies including subcontractors
  • National, regional and international joint efforts and networks
